HARDWORKING & EFFICIENT

Our Award-Winning Team

MICHAEL KRINTZ, CO-FOUNDER

Michael grew up in the farming community of rural Sauk County. With a strong background in farming, trucking, and construction, he was more than prepared for the hard work and demands of the landscaping industry. Michael began as Proscapes’ in-house “Pond Expert” and focused on larger outdoor living projects. His main focus today is the expansion and growth of our sister companies Lazy K Transport and Lazy K Farms, without sacrificing the work ethic and family atmosphere Proscapes is known for.

CHRISTINE KRINTZ, CFO

Christine grew up most of her childhood in Reedsburg before moving to Lodi. She worked in the bookkeeping department at M&I Bank and KD’s Bar and Grill prior to joining the Proscapes team. Christine takes care of all the accounting, payroll, and HR. Besides Proscapes, she also takes care of Lazy K Transport and Lazy K Farms. Christine and Michael live in Rio with their daughter, Macelyn, and two dogs, Tasha and Diesel.

BOB WAMBACH, SALES & DESIGN

Bob began his green industry career mowing lawns at age 12. After completing Greenhouse Production and Nursery Management programs, he transferred to the UW Madison Horticulture Program. He has continued his education, earning his real estate license and many industry certifications. Michael and Bob were cooperative competitors 20 years ago when Bob owned Pond and Patio Inc. In 2009 he sold the business and has since joined the Proscapes team.

ALLEN NEVERDAHL, POND & SERVICE TECH

Allen has been on the Proscapes team since 2002. We pride ourselves on being a family-owned and operated business, and as Michael’s cousin, Allen is one of the best examples of that. He was the first person Proscapes put on the payroll, and we have never looked back. Allen teaches the new personnel proper landscape techniques and is responsible for all of the pond service, outdoor lighting repair, and small paver repair jobs.

LANCE SMITH, LEAD FOREMAN

Lance joined Proscapes in 2006. His farming background and strong work ethic keep projects on track for everyone’s benefit—crew and customers alike. He has a great ability to keep the crew running smoothly every day. We can’t seem to find a piece of equipment that he can’t run!

SHARON KRINTZ, MOM

Sharon is Michael’s mother and our office assistant/house Mom. She keeps up with all of the filing and organization. Sharon’s trusty assistant, James (dogger), always wants to know if anyone has any food.

KEVIN BANKER, FOREMAN

Kevin started at Proscapes in 2012. He enjoys 4-wheeling and gaming. He is a hard worker, and his attention to detail is outstanding. If there is a problem at a job site, Kevin is quick to solve the problem, which is how he became a foreman.

ADAM BALLWEG, FOREMAN

When Adam grew up in Sauk. When he’s not hard at work, he can usually be found playing baseball or hunting. He joined us in 2016 and worked his way from Laborer to Foreman. Adam lives with his girlfriend, Morgan, in Prairie du Sac.

TOM WEISENSEL, MECHANIC

Tom runs his own farm and still manages to keep everything we own and operate on the roads. We have not run into much he can’t fix. Tom works on both Lazy K Transport and Proscapes Equipment.

NATHAN STEWART, FIELD COORDINATOR

Nathan started his landscape career in Georgia as a 14-year-old and soon amassed over a decade worth of hands-on experience in the industry. At his previous employer, he grew alongside the company and took on the responsibility of managing its operations and customer service, while expanding his knowledge through several industry-focused conferences. He joined Proscapes after moving to Madison with plans to continue growing his skills and providing excellent service in this industry.

JAYBIN NIELSEN, VIDEOGRAPHER - CONTENT CREATOR

Jaybin grew up in the Cottage Grove area and attended Madison Multi-Media Institute. Jaybin owns and operates Main Character Media producing music videos for area musicians. Jaybin completes all of our video shoots, editing, and online video content.

LYLE STONE, CREW LEADER

Lyle joined us in 2019, arriving from Washington. A jack of all trades, he has worked in HVAC, landscaping, drove a recycling truck for the city, and more. Lyle believes he is a pirate, the moon landing was fake, and he loves model trains. In Lyles's head, all these things are related. In all honesty, though we love having Lyle around, more often than not, someone has to tell him to actually go home.

OUR CREW

All of our part-time employees are invaluable to us. Watching our crews work together is often like watching a well-oiled machine. We are happy to say we cannot imagine having better crews to work with.
